Photocentric UV DLP burn-out resin
A calcinable resin:
This Calcinable resin is ideal for the production of jewelry pieces because it burns cleanly without residue or ash.The Photocentric UV DLP burn-out resin offered by LV3D is compatible with DLP 3D printers that use a video projector.
Photocentric Burnout UV Resin is specially designed for high definition mold making. It will leave almost no ash when burned and will create gas evenly as the temperature rises, preventing any pressure build-up in the casting.
LV3D advice for the use of castable resin:
It will be recommended to slowly burn your impression so that the transition to the gaseous state of the material is made progressively in order to reduce the risks of cracking of your molding. We recommend that you optimize the air circulation with active ventilation in order to expel the air in the molds.
To successfully switch from a wax-based process to a resin-based one, adjust the settings well.
Cleaning the Photocentric UV DLP Burnout Resin:
the print can be cleaned with soap and hot water. Then it will be possible to transfer the parts for a post curing under a light of 405 nm, until the surface is very hard and rigid.
Post treatment
In order to get the most out of the Quickly Burnout Photocentric Resin, prints should be post-processed no more than 5 min.You can repeat the operation if necessary once) Make sure that the alcohol has evaporated well before proceeding to the baking and foundry phases, to prevent it from acting on the mold and altering its surface.
The surface should thus be hard and quite rigid.
We recommend that you then clean your prints with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol (a good solvent for waxes, oils, resins).
Remember to change the isopropyl alcohol present in your bin to preserve the quality of finish of the parts. We also recommend the use of gloves when handling Isopropyl Alcohol.
